Jordan 7

The Air Jordan VII (7) was released in late 1991/early 1992. By this time nothing could stop Michael and his confidence must have been at least 110%. The Bulls won their second straight title and he picked up a number of awards and honors. Jordan also went off to the Olympics bringing home another gold medal for the USA. This of course with the unforgettable Dream Team of ‘92.
The Air Jordan 7 is a very unique shoe in the Jordan line as well as a basketball shoe. What was unique with the Nike Air Jordan 7 shose was that they used some of the Nike Huarache technology to create a shoe that really stuck to your foot. The shoe was much lighter weight than some of the previous Air Jordans as well. The Nike Air Jordan 7 was also unique in that it did not feature the “Nike Air” logo, a visible air unit, or clear soles. Once again, designed by Tinker Hatfield, the shoe had something new. A neoprene sockliner was the first of its kind. The Air Jordan 7 shoes was promoted in a marketing campaign in which Michael Jordan appeared with Bugs Bunny. The Air Jordan 7’s then inherited the nickname “the Buggs”.
