Jordan 16

The Jordan 16 was released on February 17, 2001 - Jordan’s 38th birthday. Jordan shoe was the first to not be designed by Tinker Hatfield in over a decade, yet it brought together the best pieces of Jordan shoes Tinker designed. With a little fresh blood in the design process, the Air Jordan 16 was perhaps the first truly fresh design since the Jordan III, despite the fact that Smith decided to recycle a few of the design elements of earlier releases, such as the clear soles and patent leather. What made the Nike Air Jordan 16 new was a removable gaiter/shroud, giving Jordan shoe two looks for the price of one. Not only a stylish addition, this feature helped to control temperature and comfort for the wearer. The overall design was great and it’s great to see a new designer put his foot forward.
