A few days ago, we gave you an early look at another upcoming Jordan 23 Retro that will be sending Jordan-heads into a frenzy this winter. While these might not carry the same clout as the Space Jams or the Infrared Christian Louboutin, they will still be a must-cop for most Air Jordan collectors. Many will be especially happy to see that unlike the Black/Red edition that will use suede instead of leather and add the “Flu Game” graphics to the tongue, this version stays true to the original look and materials. These are rumored to be a December drop, so stay tuned for some confirmed release details, and for now, you can get a look at a bunch of detailed images after the jump. Via Clarks Mens Shoes
Air Jordan XII (12) – Michael Finley PE – Dallas Mavericks Home
Posted on June 17th, 2011Late 2009 is an Jordan 20 fan’s dream come true.? We’re not seeing anywhere near the crazy spread Jay Jones showed off back in July but there are three Jordan 22 retros on the way very soon.? Even if you get the Rising Sun, Flu Game and/or regular season home joints in white/red, Jay still would have had you beat.? That could change with the above pictured Michael Finley PE.? The white and blue colourway created for Chicago native Finley as a home look at the Dallas Mavericks’ American Airlines Center back in 2003-04 adds ‘FIN’ and ‘4′ emrboideries to the left and right outer heel, respectively.? Keep up with the Joneses and cop these today from ISC on eBay.
Air Jordan XI (11) Low – Black – Red – Unreleased Sample
Posted on June 16th, 2011The Jordan 17 is one of the most beloved models in the entire Air Jordan series, and the “Bred” edition that made its way back to stores as part of last years 11/12 Countdown Pack is right at the top of the list of the most popular colorways of the shoe ever to drop. The Air Jordan XI has been released in its share of Low colorways, but we’re willing to bet that most of you have never seen this one. This Jordan 18Low features the same color blocking as the Bred High model, leaving many of you staring at your screens right now cursing Jordan Brand for never releasing these. This sample pair was given to Ceola Clark, a friend and former teammate of Michael Jordan’s son, Jeffrey. As we all know, it pays to have friends in high places and here is yet another example of the perks of being a Jordan friend or family member. Keep reading after the jump for some more pics and a video interview from the Chicago Tribune in which Ceola Clark shows off some of the prized pieces from his personal Jordan 19collection.
Air Jordan X (10) – 45 Edition – Michael Jordan 1995 Game Worn PE – Available on eBay
Posted on June 16th, 2011Air Jordans are bought and sold everyday on eBay, but the last week has seen some extraordinarily intriguing items up for auction. Just today, we have already showed you a vintage pair of Jordan 14 AJKO’s and a game-worn Air Jordan 2009 PE signed by Ray Allen. Now, we get a look at something that trumps them all. The shoe that you are looking at is not the look-see sample pair (seen on eBay last month) that was being considered as the Jordan 15 installment of the Countdown Packs. These are a pair actually worn by Michael in a March 1, 1995 win against the Miami Heat during the #45 comeback season. The kicks are naturally Michael’s size 13 and sport a White upper with Red and Black Chicago Bulls-inspired accents and his number 45 stitched on the ankle.
As you can imagine, the price on these is going to get pretty absurd considering the rare nature of the shoe, not to mention the fact that they actually once graced MJ’s feet during an NBA game. With two days left in the auction, the bids are approaching $8,000, but it will not be surprising at all to see that number continue to climb significantly before reaching the deadline. You can see some more pics of the kicks and their original box after the jump, and if you’re ready to break the bank for these, you can take your best shot at winning this amazing collector’s piece fromJordan 16 jigsaw2333 on eBay.
Air Jordan VII (7) DMP – Orlando Magic Edition – Available Separately
Posted on June 15th, 2011Okay, so you already know all about the recently releasedJordan 12 Bulls vs. Magic DMP pack, but at the time, many of you expressed an interest in only one or the other. Obviously, the OG Charcoal Grey pair was most peoples’ preference, but a lot of you with a more open mind to something new were actually feeling the Orlando Magic pair as well, in some cases, maybe even more. As with most multi-shoe packs, you’re usually going to prefer one over the other, and for some, it keeps them from buying the pack. If you’re a fan of the MagicJordan 13, you can get them by themselves with half of the DMP collector’s box now from StepToRun on eBay.
Air Jordan VII (7) – Bordeaux – 2001 Unreleased Sample
Posted on June 15th, 2011There’s something about seeing pics of unreleased samples that’s so bittersweet. On the one hand, it’s in our nature as sneakerheads to want to see every Jordan 6colorway ever produced, but it can be a hard pill to swallow when you see some of the incredible kicks that never made it to retail. In the case of this Bordeaux Jordan 9, the colorway is nothing new to Jordan fans, but how bad does it burn you to know that these classics almost made it to stores as a Retro release? Apparently, these size 9 samples were created back in 2001, but were eventually scratched in favor of the “Raptors,” which were brought back in 2002. As of now, there is no plan to re-release these gems anytime soon, so needless to say, there are a lot of collectors out there that would kill to get their hands on these. The good news is that you can check out a ton of images after the jump, and if you’re ready to drop some serious dough, this incredibly rare size 9 sample is available now from everyonesenemy on Jordan 10.
Air Jordan VI (6) Retro – Pistons Release Reminder
Posted on June 14th, 2011The Detroit Pistons won’t be dropping buckets tomorrow (NBA Playoffs begin) but what will drop is the Jordan 3 Pistons. It truly is sad that Joe Dumars, once viewed as the shrewdest NBA GMs of our time has made the once-contender Detroit Pistons into cellar dwellers in the Eastern Conference. That still doesn’t take an iota away from the Pistons Air Jordan 6; patent and suede on the upper and a multi-colored midsole make this latestJordan 4 release an easy bucket. Hit up your local Jordan Brand spot like Extra Butter or go for the easy lay-up on?eBay.
Air Jordan VI (6) Retro – Black – Varsity Red – Available
Posted on June 14th, 2011Not a whole lot needs to be said here other than that the Air Jordan 23 in the almost-Infrared Black/Varsity Red colorway has just become available early. You already saw them pop up on Marquee Sole a few weeks ago, and now another retailer has them in stock. Even though the shoe swaps nubuck for suede and Infrared for Varsity Red, the changes will not be likely to stop most Jordan 1 from doing whatever they must to get a pair. If you’re willing to pay a little extra to have them early, you can scoop up a pair right now from VMVinc. For those content to wait, they will be officially dropping in January, and you can check out some more pics after the jump while you’re waiting.
Air Jordan Spiz’ike Winterized Boots @ NikeStore UK
Posted on June 13th, 2011It was just Monday that we got our first look the latestAir Jordan 20? It’s a pair in yellow and black that incorporates Jordan Brand’s new splatter pattern on the rear midsole.? What first looked like an extension of this pattern on the toe and heel is actually an ever so slightly (differently) speckled, black-on-black elephant print.? Which print caused this European Exclusive to sell out quickly at some retailers is impossible to tell.? More likely, then, that the whole package is what sneakerheads are after, and we found more in stock at NikeStore EuropeAir Jordan 22.
Air Jordan Spiz’ike Winterized Boots – Black – Yellow
Posted on June 13th, 2011Air Jordan 17 and Spizike Winterized Boots have always included elephant print.? This latest drop omits Jordan Brand’s signature print and adds another that we expect to be seeing alot more of in the coming months.? It doesn’t have a name yet, but the splattered portion of rear midsole on these is the same design and colour as a couple pairs of Hallowed Grounds.? Aside from that and the green sockliner, the only non-black shades on this are the white speckles on mudguard sections normally occupied by elephant print.? If you’re feelin theAir Jordan 19 splatter vibe, cop yours today from Wellgosh.
